Carol Colbert Skubal, Founder and Artistic Director of 31 years, is a member of Dance Masters of America Dance Educators, Dance Masters of Florida, Inc. and Florida Dance Teachers Association.  She is celebrating her 37th year of teaching in the United States and has been a guest artist in both South America and Europe.

Carol has successfully contributed her specialties in children's work, emphasizing the importance of proper technique and a strong sense of dance development.  Her students have been showcased in community theater performances, regional dance conventions and dance competitions, as well as featured in the Debbi Dee Educational Dance Videos and Dance Olympus Instructional Videos.  Others have chosen to pursue a professional dance career and can be seen in theater and television productions in New York City, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

In 2006, Carol Colbert School of Dance was featured on the cover of Dancer Magazine, with a seven-page article depicting her extraordinary career and accomplishments in the dance world.  Carol is proud and honored to have been asked to be a guest judge for competitions, including International Dance Challenge and On Stage America Organizations, for several of their cities throughout the United States.
